tarkovsky 감독의 1972년 영화 solaris.

마침 마지막 시험이 꿉꿉하게 끝나서 방황하던(? 마음만) 차에 손님 소개로 본 영화. 

감독 의도를 대사로 전하는 영화는 별로 좋아하지 않지만 주옥 같은 대사가 나와서 용서하기로.

 

I know only one thing. when i sleep, i know no fear, no, trouble no bliss. blessing on him who invented sleep. the common coin that purchases all things, the balance that levels shepherd and king, fool and wise man. there is only one bad thing about sound sleep. they say it closely resembles death.

 

Snaut: When a man is happy, the meaning of life and other eternal themes rarely interest him. These questions should be asked at the end of one's life.

Kris: But we don't know when life will end. That's why we're in such a hurry.

Snaut: Don't rush. The happiest people are those who are not interested in these cursed questions.
